To our community,
In light of the current and rapidly evolving COVID-19 situation and the associated challenges facing our sector, our communities, our institutions and in fact the globe, CANHEIT 2020 will not go forward as planned. However, as soon as a few details can be confirmed, it is our hope that we will be able to invite you all back to the beautiful city of Montreal and the campus of Concordia University for an even bigger and better CANHEIT 2021.
As all of you are experiencing, the team at Concordia is focused on ensuring their institution has the tools and services in place to complete the term. Once things have settled a bit they will be in touch with all registered attendees with information on refunds. It is anticipated that this may take up to a month so we would ask for your patience and understanding. If you have hotel rooms booked we would ask that you cancel them as soon as possible.
As a community, we are individually and collectively living in an extraordinary time but also as a community, we will help each other through it. If there is anything CUCCIO/I can do please don’t hesitate to reach out. Stay healthy and stay safe.

CUCCIO oversees the annual Canadian Higher Education Information Technology Conference, known as CANHEIT. With a focus on IT issues of interest to Canadian universities and colleges, CANHEIT brings together staff, managers and senior administrators who are responsible for the management and evolution of their campus information systems, learning systems and digital infrastructure. CANHEIT is an open conference and anyone is welcome to attend. Attendees are not required to be a member of CUCCIO.
As the only national conference for IT professionals in higher education in Canada, CANHEIT brings together IT staff from universities and colleges across Canada each year to share ideas, showcase best practices and learn from each other.
